Arrival by your own means to Dasing near Munich, Friday, 16.05.2025 | 121 km - 1,186 meters of elevation
Welcome to your 911 weekend! We’ll meet at 2:00 PM at the charming Oldtimer Resort in Dasing, where the dream cars, the breathtaking Porsche 911s, will be waiting for you. You can safely park your own vehicle on the grounds of the Oldtimer Resort.
After a light welcome snack and a chance to get to know each other, you'll receive a briefing on the unique features of each 911 generation, as well as an overview of the weekend’s itinerary. Once you're familiar with your Porsche 911, we’ll set off together for Bad Tölz, where you'll experience for the first time the unique driving dynamics of a 911 and discover why it became an icon.
Our destination is the exceptional Hotel Bergeblick, which truly lives up to its name and will serve as the starting point for the next two days.
Travel Day 1, Saturday, 17.05.2025 | 256 km – 5,246 meters of elevation
The day begins with a delicious breakfast. Without any rush, we then start the boxer engines and head west. Our destination is a popular car meeting point in the region, where one of the most beautiful classic car gatherings takes place annually: the Hohen Peißenberg, with its unobstructed view of the mountains.
After this little "warm-up," we continue towards Forggensee and pass by Neuschwanstein Castle. A unique backdrop is created: all generations of Porsche 911s united, with the fairy-tale castle of Ludwig II in the background.
Next, we take a short detour into Austria to enjoy the beautiful lakeside road along Plansee and the stunning natural scenery.
Shortly after, we come to the connection between Kochelsee and Walchensee: the Kesselberg. At over 800 meters above sea level, it has many winding sections and is especially suited for sports cars. Afterward, we pass the western shore of Walchensee and follow the road to Sylvenstein Reservoir. From there, the Isar River will guide us back to our hotel.
To reflect on the countless impressions of the day and exchange experiences with the small group, our joint dinner offers the perfect setting.

Travel Day 2, Sunday, 18.05.2025 | 329 km – 6,597 meters of elevation + return journey
Day 2 of our 911 weekend begins with a visit to Tegernsee, where we’re sure to spot a few more 911s, as the area also appreciates the unique qualities of the everyday sports car. We then continue south for another detour into Austria to reach the largest and, in the eyes of many, the most beautiful lake in Tyrol: the Achensee.
After Kufstein, the Ursprung Pass leads us back into Germany, where, shortly after Bayrischzell, we’ll experience a particularly winding stretch: Sudelfeld and the Tatzelwurm. Through the picturesque pre-Alpine landscape, we’ll continue on to Schliersee.
Afterward, it’s time to slowly bring our treasures back home. However, we won’t miss the chance to thoroughly enjoy the most scenic and winding sections of the Munich countryside, choosing anything but the shortest or fastest route back!
Once we arrive in Dasing, it’s time to say farewell to the 911s and fellow enthusiasts. But who knows, perhaps we’ll meet again on one of World of Driving’s future sports car tours...
